Heavenly Hash Creamery Donates Protein Ice Cream to Metropolitan Ministries

On May 1, 2020 Susan Scherer, CEO of Heavenly Hash Creamery met with Tim Marks, CEO of Metropolitan Ministries with a semi trailer containing ice cream in tow. During these unprecedented times, hunger and poor nutrition have become a reality for many. Communities and charities have stepped forward and are trying to meet these needs. Susan and the HHC Team also wanted to do something. Metropolitan Ministries had a need for foods with protein, so it only made sense to donate what we could. Susan said, "The donation of 14,000 cups of high protein ice cream will help these families." Each individual 4 oz. serving cup has 8 to 9 grams of protein, is low lactose, no soy, kosher and gluten free.
